Design partners launch Greater Vancouver GreenGuide
Greater Vancouver has built a reputation as a centre for urban sustainability. Now that distinction has been documented in one place: The Greater Vancouver GreenGuide.Showcasing how Greater Vancouver builders and designers are turning ideas into action, the GreenGuide has three components: a 208 page guide book, a map, and a website (www.greatervancouvergreenguide.ca).
The Greater Vancouver GreenGuide features 111 projects: green buildings, green infrastructure projects, green neighbourhoods, open spaces, and programs that embody built examples of urban sustainability in Greater Vancouver. It also includes a map, eight self guided tours, the story of sustainability in our region, and a multi-faceted search index. This highly graphical, user friendly resource that will be of interest to local and visiting design professionals, academics, and the general public.
