Take out container garbage
Sighted: Sushi restaurant by Angela
Take-out sushi uses chopsticks, plastic, and styrofoam galore. Walk down to the restaurant and give them your tuperware for your take-away!
Check the Ocean Wise list so you can order non-endangered seafood. Bring your own carry bag and remember to tell them - no chopsticks or soy sauce - I have some at home. The Ethical Gourmet is a great book that explains why you should refuse chopsticks - they used to be made out of scrap wood, but now tons of trees are cut down to keep up with worldwide demand. Ask for a fork if you're dining in.
