World Oceans' Day, Sunday June 3rd, 11am-3pm, Blackie Spit Park, Crescent Beach, Surrey BC.
Come celebrate our oceans and ocean life in this fascinating fun event for the whole family!
Featuring family activities, painting with International artist `Rogestí, crafts, face painting, touching live marine critters, the Giant Story-telling Salmon, interpretive marine & beach walks, environmental interactive displays, kayaking, scuba & Coast Guard rescue demos, the Solar Powered Road Show, live music, organic food, prizes and more! Meet Beach Hero interpreter, Catriona to learn what you can do all summer on the beach! Come on your bike, take the bus, car pool or walk if you can, to win a healthy living prize! Event rain or shine, dress for the weather.
The purpose of this event is to raise community awareness about our Ocean ecosystem and Boundary Bay and that healthy living choices help the environment!
