Kids sit on an ultra-cheap electric vehicle while getting face-painted - August 11th, 2007
Everyone's invited to sit on the world's first Revived Battery Electric Pickup for free face-painting at the Kensington Community Fair, 11am-3pm, on 11th August, under the Solar Power Roadshow's tents. Battery breakthroughs were discovered in Burnaby and resulted in this unique vehicle that costs 30 cents a day to operate. It's the world's cheapest pickup truck to run. Kids and parents waiting for their turn will also play with other edu-fun renewable energy devices. It's free.
